Section 2 was set up in the new part of the cemetery formed after its expansion in 1926. It is comprised of two parts. Along the western edge, there is a narrow elongated strip, six grave sites wide. This section, with 12 rows, was reserved for burials of kohanim. The main part of the section has a planned capacity of 646 grave sites and is located on sloping terrain.
