Section 12

The section is located in the westernmost part of the cemetery. It was originally planned for 716 grave sites in 43 rows. During socialism, the section was reduced by about two-thirds of its surface area. It is now part of the land of the adjacent Sorea Regia Hotel (plot no. 1716/1). The graves in several rows date from the post-war period of the 1940s and 1950s. War returnees are buried here, many of whom died as a result of their ordeals during the war. The upper part of the section is an overgrown forest.
